The Consortium Launches into Early Years
Online Customers Raise Money for Charity
January 2008
The Consortium is offering to donate money to charity for every customer who manages their order online.
The Consortium works hard to promote and apply sustainable and environmentally friendly policies across its business and has raised over £54,000 for Cancer Research UK since 2004.
The company is now offering to donate £1 to Cancer Research UK for every customer requesting to receive e-documentation, in the form of invoices, statements and receipts online, in replacement of a printed version. Not only a sustainable process, but also a prompt and efficient method by beating the post!
Other ongoing charity involvements include The Consortium donating £1 to the charity for every education customer who downloads the SIMS purchasing software available online, as an alternative to the annual catalogue disk issued by post.
“Customers can check on their orders or place an order any time of day or night,” says Melanie Teal, Chief Executive at The Consortium. “Our website is totally secure, easy to use and very logical – managing an account online is faster, easier and far more sustainable and environmentally friendly”.
Based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, The Consortium has built a strong reputation for delivering a high quality, customer focused service, whilst operating to exacting service standards in supplying education and care sector customers.
