How to Download The Consortium SIMS Catalogue File

In order to download and install The Consortium SIMS catalogue file please follow these simple instructions.

Step 1 - Download the ZIP files

Enter your account information to activate the download link

Enter your account name, account numbers and delivery points you are authorised to place orders on

 
 
 
 
  1. Now download the SIMS files by clicking the link below:
  2. After you click the link a pop-up window will appear like this:
    • Message: You have chosen to open TheConsortiumSIM07.exe
  3. Now click 'Save'. A new window should appear, like this:
    • Save as
  4. Save the file to your chosen destination. To save the file to a new folder, create a new folder first and save the file into the new folder.
  5. After you click save, a window like this should appear:
    • Download complete
  6. Click 'Run'.

Step 2 - Running the file on your computer

  1. You may get the following message:
    • Message: The Publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this file?
  2. If you get this message click 'Run'.
  3. The following message should appear:
    • Message: To unzip files to the specified folder click unzip
  4. Click 'Browse' and locate the destination folder you saved the file to in 'step 1'.
    • Message: Please select a folder
  5. Now click 'Unzip' to unzip the files to your chosen destination.
  6. When the message box announces that it is finished, like this:
    • Message: To unzip files to the specified folder click unzip -- click close
  7. Click 'Close'.

That's it! You've now downloaded the SIMS catalogue file onto your computer and it's ready to install.

Now proceed to install SIMS
